Day #2373 (Sun., July 3, 2016) – Marbles In Raleigh

2016-07-03 - Marbles MuseumThere was a hug thunderstorm last night so our doggie treat display was washed out. Katie was upset but I told her that it did it’s purpose. I was a temporary display to show if there was interest, and since we got notes from both Lucy and Katie (her dog walker), mission accomplished.

We were planning on going to Marbles Kid’s Museum in Raleigh this afternoon but Bobby woke up at 10am so off we went. I brought some cheese slices and various other snacks to eat in the van.

There were lots of things to enjoy at the Museum. For example:

1) Car Race Track
2) Hockey Games (see photo to the left)
3) Pet Vet Section
4) Fire Trucks Other Vehicles To Sit In
5) Grocery Shopping Area

After our museum visit we ate at the cafe near the IMax theatre which was on the way to the parking lot where our van was parked. Both my wife and I had the kebabs while Katie enjoyed a hotdog and fries, lemonade, and a cookie. Bobby enjoyed sampling a bit of all our plates. As we neared Chapel Hill we stopped off at McDonalds where we all enjoyed a sundae while Bobby slept.

This evening I went to see “Independence Day” at the Silverspot Theater. I was surprised in that I didn’t nod off for a list a little bit of the movie.
