Day #2382 (Tue., July 12, 2016) – A Two Nap Day
It was a rough night with Bobby for my wife. He woke up at 5am and then at 6am he went back to bed for 10 minutes. When 9am rolled around he slept for 3 hours. At 4pm he went to bed for an hour…this was the first time he had two naps in a day in a long while.
As I was leaving for work today Bobby said both “Da Da” and “Ma Ma”. The other day he said “Done” when we were feeding him. He’s learning how to talk now…
I took Katie to Spence’s Farm (see photo to the right) this morning. It’s been a while since I’ve been here but it still looks the same. After signing her in I dropped her backpack into the slot and drove to the Chapel Hill library to return a DVD about a cartoon puppy, then off to work.
When my wife picked Katie up this afternoon she got a chance to talk to Mr. Spence. He said that Katie really took to horse riding…it was like she had been doing it for a long time.
I put Bobby behind the steering wheel of my car this evening and did he ever love it. He made a real fuss when I tried to take him away. He loves all the buttons and gears and of course the fact that he can pretend he is driving a car. I put him on the roof of the car when I did manage to pry him free and he liked that since he is into heights.
