Day #2387 (Sun., July 17, 2016) – Baby Gate #2
No parties or activities to go to today. Just a quiet day around the house. It’s nice for Katie to have these once in a while as she loves to play with her animals and it gives her time to “unwind”.
Since our day is not “packed” I had some time to do some stuff around the house. The first task at hand was putting up the second baby gate. We have been using our couch to keep Bobby “penned in”, but he will soon be climbing and up and over he will go. I took some of the sections of his play yard and secured them to the wall and furniture with eye hooks and nylon ties. You can see a photo of the finished result to the left.
My wife put Bobby in the pool on our patio this afternoon and before you know it he was running towards the driveway. He has figured out how to flip the hook on the screen door. Securing that was task #2.
My wife had a long nap this afternoon so I tended to both Katie and Bobby. We drove up and down the driveway for a bit. They both had some time to play in the sandbox as well.
