Day #2401 (Sun., July 31, 2016) – Emery Family Visit In The PM
It was a rough night for my wife so when I woke up this morning my wife went to bed for a nap after putting Bobby to bed.
Katie and I played a game of “Rat Race”. She wanted to go first because she was younger so I let her. I don’t mind making concessions like this as it means she will get to play the game more. She’s already taken over the role of banker but we have to work on her math to determine the salary when a player passes payday. We watched BattleBots on television as we played away.
There is a liquid under my car…not sure if it is oil or transmission fluid but I’m going to take the car into the shop tomorrow to have it checked out. The oil level seems fine. Better safe than sorry in this case.
I went for a workout at the gym this afternoon and on the way back I stopped off at Trader Joe’s to get some ingredients for a “plov” dish which I made this evening in the wok. We all enjoyed it but I think Bobby enjoyed it more than Katie.
Genevieve & Steven brought Gunther and Russell over this evening to play in the pool.
Katie is really into Mary Poppins after the show yesterday. Look at the book they are reading during bedtime (see photo to the left).
