Day #177 (Tue., June 29, 2010) – Camera Found
Little Katie found a new toy this afternoon…boxes. Who needs all those contraptions made from bright plastics when you can have the boxes they came in… 🙂
My wife sent me an email while I was at work. Little Katie got up and had zero interest in food. She put her in the playard with the baby toy piano and the “talking” baby doll in front of her. She would click on a piano key, start the song and then play with the doll (which means pick it up and suck on an appendage) while the song was still playing. Then she would click the piano key again and suck on the doll a bit more. Ain’t life grand…
The photo to the right shows some new bibs that we purchased for little Katie once she starts feeding. They are waterproof and have a little pocket in them (for food to fall into). My wife washed them and hung them up to dry…that is why they are hanging like this.
We misplaced our camera yesterday and figure that it must have fallen out of the stroller yesterday. My wife told me that they managed to locate it. Here’s how the story goes: At the end of a nearby street they met a woman who said that she got an email about the found camera. She showed them the house of the lady who sent out the email. They tried knocking on the door…no luck. They came home and located who the owner of the house was via the internet, then located their phone number from the phone book. They left a message and she called back. Camera is safe and sound…
My wife said that little Katie was fussy all day today but as soon as I came home she quieted down. Apparently she did this yesterday as well. Daddy’s girl… She is in the Jumperoo now and I am waving at her from across the dining room area and saying “Boo, Boo, Boo…”. As soon as she hears this she lets out this big scream of delight.
