Day #2443 (Sun., Sept. 11, 2016) – 34 lbs and 13.5 oz
Today is the 15th Anniversary of 911. My how time flies…
I went for a 2 hour dip in the O2 Fitness pool this morning. The long workout sure felt good. On the way home I picked up some flour and bleach for my wife at the nearby Lowe’s.
Bobby weighed in at 34 lbs and 13.5 oz today (see photo to the left). It’s hard to believe that this is the boy who we had to take to the doctor when he was born because he was so underweight.
Once Bobby finally went to bed my wife went to bed as well. Katie and I played a game of Rat Race and watched the “Man Trap” episode of Star Trek where there is a “Salt Sucking Monster”. Katie is into Star Trek these days…not exactly sure why.
I tried to get Ginger out of the house and he would not go. I threw the tennis ball out and he still would not go. When I tried to grab his collar he bit me so I got the broom and when I went near him with it he went outside then.
We had a hard time putting Bobby to bed for his noon nap. This messed up our schedule as Katie really wanted to go see the Spirit Halloween Store in Durham today. My wife ended up taking her. I guess the place was really bad. The music was blaring so loud that they had to leave. Long gone are the days of the Spirit Halloween Store here in Chapel Hill where they had plenty of electric decorations out to play with.
