I thought I would show the Little Tykes Police Cycle that we picked up at the consignment sale yesterday (see photo to the right). Bobby loves to rock on it. I need to find some time to get the various lights and sirens working. I think it’s just a short somewhere.
My wife went to the Mandarin Advisory Committee (MAC) meeting at Katie’s school this evening so I stayed home and tended to the kids. This is the meeting where Jack was made “co-chair”. Just before she left for the day Arnesa told me that Katie was full and would be going to bed soon but it was not to be…
Katie wanted to eat some more. I made her a grilled cheese sandwich after many attempts. For starters the toaster oven was not operating properly so the cheese wouldn’t melt. I then tried the oven but the broiler was so intense that the cheese would burn. After three attempts of two slices I finally has success. Katie loved it so much that she wanted to more slices so back to the oven I went. After a few strawberries she was ready for bed…
While Katie was munching away I fed Bobby. By the time my wife returned Bobby just needed his milk and to be put to bed.
When my wife arrived home I was in the process of brushing Katie’s teeth. Of course Bobby has his own toothbrush and loves to mimic his older sister. I told Katie that she could stay up and tell my wife that Miss Randby visited her school today if she changed into her nightgown so with her teeth brushed she was ready for storytime and bedtime as well.
