Day #2468 (Thu., Oct. 6, 2016) – Updating The Will

I took the morning off so that my wife and I could go out to Cary and update the will. The lawyer was very chatty and wanted to know about our kids. She told us that she has three children and took her daughter to a mother-daughter camp in eastern Carolina called “Camp Seafarer” (i.e.: http://www.seagull-seafarer.org/). She also said that the YMCA has a number of great family programs.

On the way home we stopped off at the Bosphorus Restaurant. We got to talk to our favorite waiter who gave us some free Turkish tea (see photo to the right). He told us that his whole family is from New York and they came to Cary because his brother was in the military. He said that his father is going to retire soon and since he doesn’t know anything about cooking he will be looking for another job rather than take over the restaurant. He said he might go back to New York and maintain the general ledger of J.P. Morgan, his former job. He also told us that he was accepted to Duke but because he couldn’t get in-state tuition he just went to work for his father as a waiter.

This evening we met with Allison, a potential nanny candidate for Bobby. We decided to interview more people as she was not really the type of person we want to take care of Bobby. We asked Katie and she was bothered by the fact that she didn’t own an animal. Arnesa is a hard act to follow when it comes to nannies for Bobby.

This evening Bobby was mesmerized by the opening and closing of an umbrella.
