Day #2472 (Mon., Oct. 10, 2016) – Gummy Bears & Mustard

On the way to Glenwood this morning we saw a street sweeper. I explained to Katie that they would be out in force this morning cleaning up all the debris left by Hurricane Matthew.

2016-10-10-bath-time-with-bobbyBobby sure enjoys his bath time (see photo to the left)…especially all the little toys and bottles and gadgets he can play with.

We’re running low on supplies so I went to Trader Joe’s tonight. The trucks didn’t make it due to Hurricane Matthew so quite a few of the shelves were bare. At any rate, I got to see the “Former Doctor” who works there and told him I had to go for a knee replacement. He snapped “full, not partial, right”. That’s right. He had mentioned to me before that I should get a full as opposed to a partial as I would only need to go back and get the other half done at some point. Katie wanted me to pick up some gummy bears and my wife wanted some mustard amongst our other weekly supplies.

While at Trader Joe’s I got an email from Dr. Holman. He is unable to meet me for lunch tomorrow as his twins want to have lunch with him. We postponed our lunch meeting til next Tuesday.

Bobby just would not go to bed this evening. My wife put him in bed and went and got him I don’t know how many times. It’s scary how he loves to climb and what little regard he seems to take about height. He does seem careful but every now and then he will fall and cry and need a hug.
