On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie wanted to play “Bigger Than A Breadbox”. I asked her if she wanted a hard one and she said yes. Her guesses were road, pavement, etc… I meant hard as opposed to easy not hard as opposed to soft. I had to explain this to her.
Today is the last day of school for Katie this week. She usually goes over to Helen’s house on Tuesdays but didn’t want to this evening. Perhaps they got into some kind of a fight.
This evening Katie put out a number of cardboard blocks (see photo to the right) and Bobby spent quite a bit of the evening walking back and forth on them.
Bobby would not eat his “slop” this evening. It very well could be that he has finished the phase of “baby food” such as buckwheat…even if it does have mango in it. He has a great time feeding himself slices of orange and tiny slices of peanut butter sandwiches…but he would not let my wife or I feed him.
It’s funny to see Bobby to react when it’s time for bed. My wife will usually let out some sort of a signal like “Ok now…” Bobby is very quick to pick up on these sort of signals and he will run away with all his might. He’s very strong and able to put up quite a fight when he doesn’t want to go to bed. Heaven knows how hard it will be to put him to bed in six months of so…
