Day #2541 (Sun., Dec. 18, 2016) – Chair Basketball Net
I stopped off at Lowe’s this morning to get some parts to hook the basketball net we got at the consignment sale in September to the back of a chair. I spent the afternoon getting this assembled. You can see the finished product in the photo to the right.
Wyatt came over to play with Katie this afternoon. I saw my wife and Katie, Bobby & Wyatt out for a walk as I was driving home from the pool.
I did a simple test of my pinata idea this afternoon as well. I interlinked some straws and then put some paper mache paper slices on them to see how they would dry. Maybe the best design is to cut holes out of a cereal box since it already has the correct structure and then attach some paper mache slices to that?
Bobby said kitty this afternoon. Up til now he has been saying “Ba” (for Batman) when he sees a cat.
This evening I put a Duplo kitty into the back of a Duplo garbage truck, turned the crank, and it came out the back end. Bobby smiled and laughed. Such a boy.
