Day #2551 (Wed., Dec. 28, 2016) – Greensboro Science Center
My wife took Katie and Wyatt to the Greensboro Science Center today. It was a long day but they had a blast. Karen was at work today to take care of Bobby so I effectively had the day off.
It was a long trip to Greensboro and back but I guess that the kids had a blast. You can see one of the snapping turtles in the photo to the left. Wyatt was so respectful and nice. My wife told me that he was always saying thank-you. When she dropped him off at home his dad asked if he was appreciative so they must have told him to be this way before the trip. For lunch they ate at the cafeteria. Katie had a hot dog, Wyatt had pizza, and my wife had a sandwich. Wyatt’s parents gave her $40 for expenses but they would not take any of it back…
Was Bobby ever happy when Katie finally came home later this evening. It was almost like he was waiting all day for her to play with him. He would run back and forth from the couch to the trampoline and once Katie started to join him they had a blast.
My wife mentioned how clear Bobby can say the word “ball” now. It used to be just “baa”…but now you can definitely hear the “l’s”.
