Day #2555 (Sun., Jan. 1, 2017) – Treble Clef Pinata
Here it is…2017…and Katie’s birthday is right around the corner. Although it is technically on Wednesday, we will be celebrating it on Saturday this year.
Jui-Lan, our neighbor, stopped by this morning to say hello and give Katie a craft book. My wife brought the piano out of Katie’s room and Katie gave her a concert. She is progressing nicely…didn’t seem to be scared about giving a concert or anything. It’s great to be getting over your fear of performing at such a young age.
This afternoon my wife took a nap and Katie and I worked on the treble clef pinata we are going to have for her birthday. You can see the finished product in the photo to the left. I told Katie we would wait for her mother to get up to help her fill it with candy.
Bobby had a real short nap today…he woke up at 2:15pm. Luckily we were done with the pinata by that time.
When I got home from the gym my wife called me into the bathroom. Bobby was in the tub and as my wife raised the foam letters “A” and “O” he would say what they were. Our little boy is growing up.
