I got an email from my wife at 2:30am this morning while I was fast asleep. She heard a scream from the nursery and rushed in to see little Katie on her tummy…again. She didn’t seem to be scared of the lightning…but then again, perhaps that is why she woke up.
At that time we were experiencing a horrible thunder and lightning storm. The lightning struck very close to the house (there was almost no time interval between the flash and the sound)…and the thunder was LOUD!
Little Katie was rather fussy today so she thought a bath might calm her down. It did a bit, and little Katie enjoyed playing with the green frog bath toys (see photo to the left). She enjoys stuffing the little froggies into her mouth (along with almost anything else she can get her hands on).
My wife read that babies as young as 7 to 8 months old are being introduced to adult sweets, such as candy and soda. Some babies at around 7 to 8 months are being introduced to adult salty snacks such as chips. She joked that it is almost time for little Katie to try her first Coca-Cola! Here’s a link.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
