Day #2568 (Sat., Jan. 14, 2017) – Katie’s Birthday Party
We celebrated Katie’s birthday this afternoon. Sarah took her to Celeste’s birthday party in the morning.
Lots to do in regards to getting ready for a party like this. I put cheese in the shape of music notes on the end of skewers (see photo to the left).
Lucy and Arnesa and her family came over a bit early.
During the party Bobby came up to me, put his hand in my pocket and walked me back to the LazyBoy where I was playing Spiderman with him.
The Treble Clef Pinata was a big hit. Lots of candy. Herron dove on top of all the candy so he could keep the most.
Arnesa made a “piano” cake with Kit Kats as the keys.
It was real hard to put the kids to bed this evening after all this excitement.
Katie opened up her birthday gifts this evening. She got lost of Shopkins toys. Arnesa gave Bobby a huge first truck so that he wouldn’t felt left out.
