Day #2595 (Fri., Feb. 10, 2017) – Whoops PJ Day
PJ day today at Katie’s school. As we were approaching Glenwood I noticed that there was no announcement of this on the Glenwood sign just outside the “Kiss & Go”. That should have been a warning. As it turns out my wife got confused and PJ day is in fact next Friday. Katie was the only person dressed up in PJ’s today. The interesting thing is that nobody noticed or mentioned it to her… She did tell a few of her friends but nobody made a big deal of it. I guess this is what happens in a society in which “leisure wear” is acceptable to go shopping in.
Arnesa stopped by and gave Bobby a new truck (see photo to the right). It’s a fancy little truck but by the time I got it the door fell off. We’re not sure what happened to it. Sometimes Bobby doesn’t know his own strength. At any rate, it has wheels and even with one door off it now he loves it.
My wife commented to me the other day that in some ways Bobby is Arnesa’s first child. She started to nanny for him when he was only a few months old and has seen him grow up through those early years of his life.
I put a YouTube video of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” on the television this evening. Katie danced around the living room burning off energy and Bobby went through the motions with his hands.
