Day #2626 (Mon., Mar. 13, 2017) – Photo “Thank-You” Cards
“Five Little Monkeys”. That is all that Bobby seems to want to watch on television these days. Once I put it on he will say “no way” and I have to go find another version. Fussy (and loud) child when he doesn’t get what he wants.
Bobby loves to skip rope…or at least run over it (see photo to the right). The rope that Jui-Lan gave us a while back is still going strong.
Tonight was the first night in two days that my wife has not practiced the piano with Katie.
It was a rainy cold evening and I hesitated twice before venturing out to the gym. The good thing was that because the weather was so miserable I had the pool to myself. I stopped off at the Dollar Store beforehand to pick up a couple more green bristol boards for my wife.
After my dip in the swimming pool, I went to Wal-Mart to get the photo thank-you cards that my wife made. She is going to send them out to those who gave Bobby a birthday gift on Saturday. Well, it says that Wal-Mart is 24hours but the photo desk closes at 9pm and the electronics desk closes at 10pm. Go figure. One of the employees took pity on me hobbling around I think and got the photos for me. Oh well, I do love coming to this Wal-Mart location near Pittsboro as it reminds me of the time we went there to pick up Katie’s soccer supplies right after we learned that my wife was pregnant with Bobby. I remember my wife’s reaction to the BBQ Subway sandwich given her morning sickness.
