Day #2663 (Wed., Apr. 19, 2017) – The Balance Bike Arrives
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie wanted to talk about losing her tooth yesterday. I guess that Helen and she were playing a game called “Leopard and Dog” at our house yesterday afternoon. Helen got on top of her and accidentally knocked her tooth out. As it was white they couldn’t find it on the white sheet background for a while. I suggested that we paint her teeth red so that they would show up on the sheets in the future. She didn’t like that idea.
Bobby’s new balance bike came in the mail (see photo to the right).
Katie performed a piano duet with Miss Laura this afternoon. She said that it was a pleasure playing with Katie as she is always so well prepared.
This evening Bobby decided to climb up on the window, put his feet on the window glass with his back up on the top of the couch, kick off, and perform a backward summersault onto the couch seat. We’re going to have to get this boy into some sort of an activity where he can get his climbing/energy spent.
I was playing a game in which I pretended one of Bobby’s trucks was mine. He walked over to the window sill area and pretended to be sad. He’s such a little actor.
