Day #2664 (Thu., Apr. 20, 2017) – Technology Fair At Glenwood
There was a delayed opening at Glenwood today. I had to rush to work for a meeting so my wife ended up taking Katie to school when it did eventually open for classes.
The bubble machine arrived in the mail today. We have had a couple of these machines in the past, but this one is much more sturdy and hopefully durable. They have had a tendency to break down.
Katie had her dance class this afternoon. She is preparing for the recital that will be held this June. She told me that she likes the part where she “pauses” because Mary Poppins is magical.
There was a “Technology Fair” at Katie’s school this evening. One of the teachers said that my wife was responsible for it because she suggested it. The kids were manning booths where the other kids got to do experiments and the like. I tended to Bobby at home while my wife took Katie. Katie got to make some chemical molecules out of marshmallows and toothpicks (see photo to the right). This photo also shows the firetruck and burning building that Bobby and I drew earlier in the day.
