Day #2700 (Fri., May 26, 2017) – Our Version Of Lance’s Crackers

2017-05-27 - Annie OrganicsKatie and I saw a bunch of crows on the road as we were driving to Glenwood this morning. Katie said that she was going to go out after school and leave them some food. I told her that they probably found some road kill and would be long gone by the time she comes home from school.

I dropped the car off at Chapel Hill Tire in Durham this morning to get my taillight fixed. The place was packed…everyone getting ready for Memorial Day weekend travel.

Katie has expressed an interest in Lance’s crackers. My wife doesn’t want to give her something with that much preservatives and “questionable food items”, so I picked up some organic Annie’s crackers for Katie at Whole Foods this evening (see photo to the right). A little bit of peanut butter and we have our own version of Lance’s crackers.

We’re thinking of taking the kids to the Chapel Hill public pool tomorrow. They have a kiddie area for Bobby so I will be able to sit with him there rather than walking around a bit. We’re planning on signing him up with classes with Miss Barbara so he will get used to the large swimming pools. He cried the last time my wife took him.
