Day #2702 (Sun., May 28, 2017) – BBQ At Mattie’s House
We had a BBQ at Mattie’s house this afternoon. Mattie is a girl in Katie’s Chinese class at Glenwood. She came to Chapel Hill from Shanghai last September.
They live near Southern Village in a huge house with a croquet set in the backyard. Bobby enjoyed picking up the balls and bringing them to me. He also enjoyed soaking the kids with the garden hose. You can see him give Mattie the treatment in the photo to the left.
Sophie has two rabbits and Katie brought a lot of lettuce to feed them. They somehow ended up on the couch. I was good and didn’t eat any carbs…only hamburgers and hot dogs and Perrier water. My wife made a huge bowl of fruit (courtesy of the supplies I got at Trader Joe’s last night).
The kids were tired when they got home but boy did they ever have fun.
