Day #2703 (Mon., May 29, 2017) – Memorial Day
My wife tells me that Bobby no longer requires a story when you put him to bed. He simply wants to take his car or truck (i.e.: preferably fire truck) and play with it in his crib til he dozes off.
I went to the Dollar Store this afternoon and picked up a number of goodies that the kiddies could play with. Effectively:
- Water balloons with hose attachment
- Two slingshots with “soft” balls
- Two squirt guns (see photo to the right)
I had a nap in the afternoon. When I woke up my wife said that they loved the squirt guns.
Katie was rather quiet and played with herself and Bobby for most of the day. No talk of a playdate today…I guess she needs time to recover.
