Day #2706 (Thu., Jun. 1, 2017) – Original Mattress Factory
On the drive to Glenwood, this morning Katie and I got into the subject of marriage. She said that Ellen and Dylan told her that boys cannot marry boys and girls cannot marry girls as it is “against the rules”. She went on to mention that she doesn’t think Sarah will get married as she just laughed when the subject came up. Katie said that she wants to get married one day as she wants kids. I told her to get her education out of the way first.
This evening my wife and I bundled up the kids and took them to the “Original Mattress Factory” in Pittsboro (see photo to the left), just in front of the O2 Fitness Gym location. We purchased a mattress for the new bed frame we are getting Bobby. They are going to deliver it next Friday. The kids enjoyed running around the store and getting up and down on the mattresses (no jumping). The salesman moved as a child to Raleigh in 1969 and remembered fishing in the ponds where the current Crabtree Valley Mall is located.
After mattress shopping, we stopped off at Subway for a sandwich. Katie seemed to enjoy the bag of chips more than the sandwich. I had to take them away from her until she finished her sandwich. Bobby enjoyed roaming around the store drinking his chocolate milk. He had his Superman T-Shirt on (equipped with cape) and looked some cute.
