Day #2723 (Sun., Jun. 18, 2017) – Great Wolf Lodge
This morning I played Monopoly with Timmy and Katie when Bobby was sleeping. Once he got up we were off to Great Wolf Lodge. We arrived around 1pm.
With my bad knee I could not do much in terms of unloading the van, so I took the kids to the water park to play. My wife unpacked the van and got the room ready for tonight. We spent most of the time in the kiddie area til my wife arrived.
Bobby is sure one adventuresome kid. He went down the “big green slide”. My wife thought that they could go down together but that was not allowed. He cried once he got down to the ground, but he was soon up and running around and doing more water activities. I was going to take Katie down the raft slide, but she didn’t want to after we went up one flight of stairs.
We were going to eat the buffet but decided to save some money by going to “Jack In The Box” down the road. We ended up at McDonald’s. Interestingly enough, they had a guy preaching a sermon on the tv set.
We picked up a MagiQuest wand for Katie at the store (see photo to the left) and she did a few quests before Storytime. Storytime consisted of a series of animated animal robots. A couple of people dressed up in animal costumes and joined into the fun and Bobby was all over that.
It was really hard to put Bobby to bed this evening. He was jumping up and down on the hotel bed way into the night.
