I’m back to the office today. I learned that we are down to one cube (mine) for three people now. Looks like I might be working from home 3 days/week moving forward. Looking into getting a dual monitor and docking station setup like I have at work for my “home office”. I will then need to worry about Bobby destroying them…
As I dropped Katie off at “Swamp Camp” this morning she mentioned that she hated school because it was boring. The fact that they are inside in class all day really breaks my heart. Kids at her age and younger should be outside, running around, and playing more. There will be plenty of time for classroom study and work when she gets older. It would be possible to integrate education into physical games that children play. I don’t know why nobody does this…
This evening I made a paper airplane out of a newspaper (see photo to the left). Bobby played with it for a bit, but he was not into it as much as I thought he would be. He really liked Timmy’s planes when we went to Charlotte. Maybe he considers this just an old piece of newspaper.
Katie told me that she was sad. The reason is that tomorrow is the last day of “Swamp Camp”.
