Day #2761 (Wed., Jul. 26, 2017) – Chip The Robot Dog
I printed out a picture of “Chip The Robot Dog” today (see photo to the right). We will add this to Katie’s binder as a motivational technique for her so that she will be reminded of what she is working towards.
I took some pictures and a video of the Southwest toy plane that my wife picked up for Bobby. I was planning on giving it to him tonight but could not find the package when I got home. Oh well, I can always give it to him tomorrow.
We were going to meet up with Jasmine and the girls at Maple View Farms for an ice cream social this evening but they got stuck in Durham so it was not to be. I was actually too tired to go at any rate, so after a quick nap when I got home from work I went to both Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods to get some much-needed supplies.
We don’t want to have a lot of frozen food at home in case the power goes out, but I did get a bunch of snacks that will survive the trip to the coast on Friday. We’re concerned that the local Food Lion will not have a great selection of organics, so I stocked up on canned foods and non-perishables to take along. One new item they had was Microwave Maple Popcorn. Katie might like that as a treat this weekend.
After Trader Joe’s I stopped off at Whole Foods. The main purchase was goat’s milk, but I did pick up three packages of rye bread and some “popsicles” for the girls when they come over tomorrow to see us before heading back to New Jersey.
