Day #2768 (Fri., Aug. 4, 2017) – Katie Cuts Her Finger
Today is Cameron’s last day as Bobby’s nanny. Next week she is going to Panama with her boyfriend and his parents for a trip. We are on a mad rush to find a replacement.
This afternoon my wife took Katie to piano class at Miss Laura’s house. There is a possibility that Miss Laura’s daughter, who is returning from a trip to China, will be able to help us take care of Bobby for a few weeks til school starts.
I fixed Bobby’s SouthWest plane with a bit of epoxy glue today. He managed to snap part of the small wing off (see photo to the right).
This afternoon Katie managed to cut her finger with a pair of scissors. The blood was rushing out so my wife took her to the doctor’s office. She made an appointment for 4pm but they were ready for her as soon as she arrived. The cut needed stitches but there was no way to stitch it up so that it would hold. We just need to keep it clean and things will be good in a few weeks.
Today was Katie’s first day for chores via the program to get “Chip The Robot Dog”. She managed to get a few chores done, but with all the finger cut drama, not everything.
