Day #2770 (Sun., Aug. 6, 2017) – Yet Another Nanny Interview
Another nanny interview this morning. This time is was Aylene, a girl from Portland Oregon who graduated from college in Texas, who is currently living with her sister in Durham. She is a nice girl but she is planning to go to Ireland in a few months on a work Visa. In fact, she told my wife this evening that her application just came through. This evening we sent a job offer to Laura, who will be starting work with us on Wednesday.
Cameron stopped by this afternoon for a visit and to pick up the photo mug that we gave her. She brought her mother and boyfriend to meet us as well. Katie wanted Cameron to hold her during the whole visit. Cameron and her boyfriend are flying to Panama in a few days.
I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies this afternoon. I picked up some cherries and tiny ice cream cones for Katie.
This evening Bobby and I blew up a lot of balloons with the balloon inflator (see photo to the right). The problem with Bobby is that he tends to bite the balloons and they burst.
Bobby loves to get into the cat food and play (and eat it). My wife says that it is because it is a bit like playing in the sand.
