Day #2772 (Tue., Aug. 8, 2017) – Dunkin Donuts
It rained like “cats & dogs” all night. I dropped Katie off at “Fox Walk” camp near where I work this morning. I will need to pick her up at 3 pm and drive her home.
My wife took Bobby to CiCi’s this afternoon to get a haircut. I guess he charmed the whole office.
I picked up Katie at 3 pm. She told me that they went looking for animals today and she found an animal that looked like a snail. On the way home, we drove by Franklin Street and I told her that once my leg got better we would have a Daddy/Daughter Day in which we took the bus to Franklin Street and had a nice meal and some ice cream for dessert. She asked me if we could have a donut too as she loves donuts. When we got home my wife and Bobby were sleeping so I took Katie to Dunkin Donuts on Franklin Street as a bit of a treat.
They don’t have a drive through at this Dunkin Donuts location, so we got a bit wet as we walked from the car to the entrance. Katie wanted a chocolate-dipped donut with sprinkles and some chocolate milk to wash it down (see photo to the left). I didn’t get anything. Did Katie ever inhale that donut. I took her longer to drink the chocolate milk and she shared some of it with Bobby when she got home.
Katie has a bit of a rash on her face this evening. My wife emailed Dr. Homan. Perhaps it is a reaction to the sun screen location my wife put on Katie this morning?
