Day #2796 (Fri., Sep. 1, 2017) – Interviewing Leah
Bobby got a “Welcome” postcard from his preschool (see photo to the left). He will be starting next Wednesday.
As I was dropping Katie off at school this morning she saw a sign that said “Danger”. She asked me what the danger was and I said it could be that a dinosaur was roaming around up ahead and they wanted us to be careful. She pointed out that dinosaurs don’t live anymore and this lead to a discussion on why the dinosaurs became extinct and the fact that they found a wooly mammoth in Siberia. Such seems to be the nature of our discussions. One thing leads to another.
Katie also mentioned that Eleri has been nice to her this year and wants to be her friend. She said that she was mean to her in the past because that was when she could not control herself. I told her to be careful and reminded her of our discussion on “Fair Weather Friends”.
My wife took Bobby to see the doctor at 4pm this evening. He was feeling fine by this time. Looks like he is on amends. Katie tagged along and got a flu shot in the process.
We interviewed Leah this evening, who is applying for the position as Bobby’s nanny. Her husband is in the military. She lives in Durham with her mother.
