Day #2803 (Fri., Sep. 8, 2017) – Lizzie’s First Day
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie told me that Theo and she got married yesterday. They tied little grass rings around her and Theo’s finger before he realized what was happening. That’s good enough for Katie!
Remember the camel hat that I got for Katie back when we attended the Barnum & Bailey Circus (see photo to the right)? Well Bobby will proudly put it on his head and proclaim it as a dinosaur hat.
This was Lizzie’s first day babysitting Bobby and she did quite well. She didn’t bring her lunch so she made a sandwich at our house. Perhaps eating meals at our house is one way that we can treat her. My wife told me that she did give her an extra $5 at the end of the day.
Bobby gets invited to Violet’s birthday party. This is the first time we will need to juggle the attendance of parties with both kids.
Hurricane Irma is barreling in the Caribbean and it looks like the west coast of Florida is going to take the brunt of this Category 5 storm.
