Day #2810 (Fri., Sep. 15, 2017) – Vanilla Sprinkle Donut For Katie
Today was Zach’s last day at work so they brought in a bunch of donuts. Of course with me being on a diet I cannot eat donuts, but they let me take a couple home for Katie. One vanilla sprinkles (see photo to the right), her favorite, and a frosted chocolate donut as well.
My wife got another car seat so I will be returning the other one to Wal-Mart. I guess the snaps and buckles of the Wal-Mart one are not the best. Bobby made a little fort out of the box.
Katie told me that she had a cheeseburger for lunch today. Last year my wife used to pack her lunch for her. This year Katie wants to eat at the cafeteria. The cafeteria is convenient as my wife does not have to get up early to pack her lunch. It is also relatively cheap at only $3 a day. My wife told me that parents can always go to school and eat with their kids. Maybe we should do this one day before my knee surgery?
I was not feeling well this evening so I went to bed early. I know it’s hard on my wife when I am not up and about, so unfortunately this is a bit of a “test run” for what it’s going to be like when I am out with knee surgery.
