Day #205 (Tue., July 27, 2010) – Granddad Says Hi
I put the photo of little Katie reclining on the “High Value” bed (see Sunday’s post) as a backdrop to my PC at work.
My wife told me that since it was a nice day little Katie spent some time out on the balcony. Her mother tried feed her some mashed potatoes while she was there but little Katie was having nothing to do with it. When my mother-n-law pulled out the old “puppet show” trick out of the hat she finished off the whole jar.
Later in the day they had a Skype session with my wife’s dad and when he said hello to little Katie she replied with a shy smile.
Later in the day my wife pureed a half a banana with a half a peach. Little Katie loved it! My mother-in-law was feeding little Katie and having a hard time keeping up with her…
Sometimes when little Katie is out on a stroll the bugs will descend on her. They love that new flesh and blood. We purchased some bug spray (see the photo to the left) that seems to do the trick.
When I got home this evening my wife was bathing little Katie. I helped to pour water on her front and back and hand her a bath robe. It’s amazing how much little Katie loves the water. Maybe we have a fish rather than a chipmunk on our hands… Isn’t life grand when you are a little Kid!
