This has been a rather unusual month so it is only fitting that the Daddy/Daughter Day (i.e: #62), would be unusual as well. I could have gotten my wife to drop Katie and I off at a movie house and then have her pick us up afterwards, but I decided that Katie and I would build the “Jupiter FireTruck” Costume for Halloween instead. I’m still relatively dizzy and tired from the drugs I’m taken, so in this case I will be home if I happen to need a nap or take a rest.
Katie went to Ellie’s Halloween Party in the afternoon, so this gave me a bit of a head start to get things organized before she returned. She helped me to hold the various components in place while I wired them securely. She also helped me cut out the ladder for the firetruck and do some tracing. You can see the photo of the finished product in the photo to the left. Not to shabby,r right? Bobby will be Fireman Sam, Katie will be the dalmatian dog, my wife will be Penny the nurse, and I of course, courtesy of this “dressed up walker”, will be “Jupiter The FireTruck”.
Bobby is just like his daddy in two aspects at any rate:
- He does not like to get his fingers wet or messy and will ask you to clean them off if they do.
- He talks non-stop. I don’t remember talking so much as a child, but my wife tells me that I talk non-stop now.
