The photo to the right shows the taco buffet that my wife set up for our Halloween party last night.
My friend Terry will be visiting us in a few days. I sent him a photo of us out trick or treating last night.
When Bobby went to preschool this morning the teacher told him that they had a race track in the classroom. He rushed right over to it and the attitude was “ok mom…see you later”.
The whole family went for a walk before dinner this afternoon. Well, we walked, Bobby wanted to be chaufeurred around in the wagon. We almost went to Wyatt’s house before we turned around and headed home.
Katie mentioned that she was bullied by Sonya at school today. I asked for details and she said that she made a face at her. I think that sometimes Katie is the real problem. She needs to stop sweating this “small stuff” and focus on the things that matter. You are always going to find people who “make faces at you”…you just need to learn to shrug it off and get to the tasks that matter.
Katie reminds me of Batman sometimes. Whining and complaining and always looking for others to do things for her. She needs to learn to be more independent…like Robin.
We are noticing that Katie is getting better at her homework. It’s like I told my wife…she knows how to do it…she just needs to focus on doing it and stop letting distractions and things get in her way.
