Day #2872 (Thu., Nov. 16, 2017) – Daddy Back To Work
The photo to the left shows the Notasium that my wife wanted me to check out. It’s a place for kids to learn music, but it does not appear to have a restaurant like we had thought.
My wife, Katie and I met with Sharron this morning. We told her about the incident at school where the teacher accused Katie of not letting people join in the Mango game. She said that we should talk to the teacher to get all the details and go from there.
Today is daddy’s first day back at work. My boss was out sick so I spent the day answering emails and meeting with my cohorts to get project updates.
There are three interesting scenarios with Bobby regarding bedtime at night. They are:
- Bobby has gotten into the habit of saying “More Eats” when he wants to watch more television and avoid going to bed. He will stuff himself with more and more food and unfortunately, he will sometimes vomit back up. Tonight was such a night.
- The thing is though, he will often know when he wants to go to bed and will dutifully walk to bed when he knows it is time.
- My wife and I will often play a game with Bobby in which she will hand me a fire engine or other toy and I will ooh and ahh over it pretending that I want to take it to bed with me. Bobby will then snatch it out of my hands and dutifully march off to bed with a cackling laugh like he pulled one over on me.
