Day #2879 (Thu., Nov. 23, 2017) – Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day here in the United States. We invited the Bosnian family and Arnesa and her family as well. Unfortunately Zmeden could not make it as he is down in Tampa picking up a van that was donated to him. He will have a long drive ahead of him.
The kids loved the corn on the cob that I picked up at Trader Joe’s the other day. As expected it was hard to get them to the table. They wanted to play.
Omar was playing on the ottoman and accidentally fell backward and hit his head. Luckily he was fine. Arnesa used to be a nurse and this training came in handy.
We put up the Christmas tree this evening while our guests were still here (see photo to the left). We thought the kids would get a real kick out of trimming it…but they soon lost interest.
I drove the Bosnian family home this evening. Soon their new van will be here so they will be more mobile.
