Day #2886 (Thu., Nov. 30, 2017) – Gertie The Goose
Bobby was very upset this morning when Lizzie sat him down to feed him. He brought out the Cat Car but left Cat Boy in his bedroom. I had to go back and get it. Problem solved.
Katie had another meeting with Sharon this morning. This will be the last time in which Sharon sees her…she feels that she has enough information to help us deal with her issues. In a nutshell she feels that Katie is a sensitive child and will be giving us advice on how to parent her effectively. She told us that if we have disagreements we need to make sure that Katie knows she is not to blame.
As I was leaving work this evening I noticed that my boss had a gift on his desk from another worker. He is having a boy next Tuesday and I’m not sure why I didn’t think of giving him a gift before today? At any rate, I rushed over to the Learning Express store and picked up “Gertie The Goose” baby teething toy (see photo to the right). Right on the package it says that it is designed in Canada (for whatever that is worth). They wrapped it for me and I then rushed back to work to put it on his desk so that it will be there for him when he gets in tomorrow morning.
