Day #2903 (Sun., Dec. 17, 2017) – Robot Lizard
Katie has been talking about getting a robot lizard for Christmas. My wife found this kit on Amazon (see photo to the right). Close enough!
After Katie begging us, and consultation with Sharon and Katie’s teacher, we decided to invite Eleri to Katie’s birthday party this year. We are still wary, but it appears that she has changed. In fact, Katie’s teacher, Miss Stanford, told us that there is nobody happier than Eleri when she sees Katie is in class. Alas, with Katie missing school so much this is not every day. At any rate, we heard back from Eleri’s mom today that she will not be able to attend as she has a Girl Scout meeting. All this drama for nothing?
We are in the process of compiling what we will be getting for Christmas this year. We have Arnesa and her family and the Bosnian family as well to get gifts for. We have decided that everything under the tree will be from Santa. After everyone leaves we will get out the other gifts for the kids. In this way, there will be less of a “Why did he/she get this and I didn’t” sort of drama.
My wife got a training “potty” for Bobby yesterday at the sales. We are thinking of training him how to use it this weekend. Then we will only have to wean him off of baby food…
Guenther showed up at our house without shoes today. My wife asked Steven to take him home to get some shoes and then he could play with the kids in our yard.
