We called up the NORAD Santa Tracker four times today. We have noticed that it is harder to get them on the phone later in the day, so our first call was around 11 am. At that time Santa was in the Philippines. The kids were wild today, perhaps because it was the day before Christmas, so we needed this to try and help calm them down.
I had to go to Wal-Greens to get some medicine and happened to come across some Spiderman Walkie-Talkies. They have only one channel, and were $6.99 each. Not only that, but if you got two sets they threw in the third set for free. What a deal. I will save them til after Christmas as they already have enough presents.
Arnesa stopped by this afternoon for some cookie cutters and to deliver gifts. The thought was to leave them under the tree but we needed to take them away from tree as Bobby is attracted to the packaging and wants to open them up.
This evening the Bosnian family wanted to go to Church so both our families met at the United Church down the road. Bobby and Omer were trouble…would not sit still. I sat with the three girls up front while the rest of the families sat at the back to tend to the two boys.
This evening I put out a lunch for Santa (see photo to the right) as Katie and Bobby went to bed early. It was a very exhausting day.
