Day #2911 (Mon., Dec. 25, 2017) – Christmas Day 2017
Katie was up at 7 am this morning waiting for Santa. I got up around 7:30 am to help my wife out, but she was still sleeping as Bobby was up in the middle of the night. Katie and I took some videos in preparation of Dzenen and family arriving at 8:30 am with breakfast! Unfortunately Arnesa and baby Ayra were not feeling well and could not make it. I woke my wife up at this time so we could get ready for the festivities.
The Bosnian family arrived around 9 am so we started unwrapping presents. We let Bobby sleep and he did not wake up til 10:30 am! The girls opened their presents first and we saved the presents slated for Omar and Bobby when he woke up.
Each girl got:
- Fairy Garden (Katie got the tree hollow one)
- Silly String
- Big Coloring Book
- Dozen Markers
- Coloring Set (From Arnesa)
The boys got:
- Car and Motorcycle With Wrench
- Big Coloring Book
- Dozen Markers
- Battery-operated Dollar Store Car
Later in the day we gave the kids some more presents. Katie got:
- Robot Lizard
- Vet Set with dog and carrying case (see photo to the right)
Bobby got:
- Blaster Guns (see photo to the right)
- $1 Stocking Stuffer Gun
- Dinosaur Set (see photo to the right)
It was hard to put the kids to bed this evening, but we did manage. my wife also got a sewing machine and I got a bunch of little locator devices so that you will be able to find items that you lose.
