The photo to the left shows the Spiderman walkie-talkies that I gave to the kids yesterday.
I spent quite a bit of time this evening working on the Christmas 2017 video. I have had the raw footage since last Monday but got sick and well, there always seemed to be other things to do. Alas, now is the time to complete it and get it out there.
My wife is thinking of getting a new rug for under our new dining room table. I personally think it looks fine the way it is now. Having a rug there will mean clean-up with be that much more complicated with mashed potatoes and who knows what else stepped into the fibers.
We took the Christmas tree down this afternoon and put it in the shed for safe keeping til next year. The Bosnian family will not be here to celebrate Christmas with us, but Arnesa and her family will. Ayra will be one year older.
I made liver and onions in the instant pot this evening. It was really tender, but I think I should have put the liver into the water so that it would have been moister.
We are coming up with more video ideas all the time. How about doing the various experiments in a chemistry or science or magician kit? Maybe we could have battle bots type competitions…I’m sure Bobby would love that.
I sometimes sing the Tiny Tim song “Tiptoe Through Tulips” to Bobby. When I did this in the van a while back he asked me to be quiet. He is such a music lover.
