Day #2935 (Thu., Jan. 18, 2018) – Sliding Down The Street
We are totally snowed in today. The snow has stopped falling but we are not sure when we will be able to get out. Needless to say, no school and both my wife and I worked from home today.
Bobby really loves this little talking parrot that Katie got for her birthday. You can see a photo of the parrot and my rendition of it in the photo to the left.
Wyatt came over to play with Katie today. They wanted to go back to Wyatt’s house after playing outside, but my wife wanted them to stay here to give Wyatt’s parents a break. They need to pack up the belongings of their house as they are off to Germany soon. Both Wyatt and Katie were rather fussy today. I think being “cooped up” for days is starting to get to them.
This afternoon Katie and Wyatt went outside to play in the snow. One of our neighbors was making a slide down the road outside of our house, so they enjoyed going down that. I guess when the salt truck came to salt this section of the road the guy asked them to not salt his slide. Looks like the slide will remain for another day or so. It’s going to warm up soon so there is no way he can protect his slide from that.
Bobby didn’t nap today. Too much excitement with Wyatt around. We fed him and put him to bed early.
