Day #2942 (Thu., Jan. 25, 2018) – Photo Book For Wyatt
My wife canceled the appointment with Sharon this morning as Katie is home sick today.
Katie created a “going away present” for Wyatt, a photo book which included a lot of the photos in which they both appeared (see photo to the left). Katie wrote the wording herself, which made it extra special. A personalized gift like this is so much better than a toy or some other sort of present that will just get played with and pushed aside. It will be even more special to him if he happens to have a hard time making good friends while in Germany.
Before Katie went to bed this evening the kids did some dancing to YouTube music videos. “Still Standing” from the movie “Sing” and “La Vida Loca” are favorites. This evening I also found the Dwight Yokum song “Guitars & Cadillacs” which the kids enjoyed as well.
It was hard to keep Bobby entertained this evening as he was bopping back and forth between a number of activities. We did some “word play” with wooden letters on the dining room table. We also played with the Lego table train set (that Wyatt’s parents gave us). Hide and seek with a lantern is always a big hit.
