Bobby’s latest “endeavour” is to try and get up on the ledge to get to Katie’s fairy gardens. You can see he has already managed to get to one of the watering pots (see photo the left).
My wife dropped Katie off at school this morning on her way to work. Today is stuffed animal day at Glenwood and Katie took her lemur.
Katie’s English teacher wants to see my wife and me about Katie’s reading comprehension. Apparently, she failed it. I think the real reason is that she is not paying attention. She doesn’t like school, and as a result, her mind wanders. She seems to read fine at home, and in fact, will read books on her own in her bed. She doesn’t like this teacher much and that fits into the equation as well.
Bobby has learned to open doors…even if we have those doorknob assemblies on them to prevent this. There goes the neighborhood. We have to keep an eye on him now when we put him to bed. He will open up his door, sneak down the hallway, and get into bed with Katie. He doesn’t wake her…he just sleeps next to her. He loves his big sister.
My wife got a text message and phone call from our neighbor down the street. She is trying to patch up the incident of a couple of months ago where her husband lectured my wife on the kids coming over to play on the toys in his yard.
