Day #2944 (Sat., Jan. 27, 2018) – Russell’s 2nd Birthday
We went to Russell’s 2nd birthday party this morning. The theme was “Bubbles, Balls & Balloons”. They had a swimming pool full of balls in the basement and a bubble machine in the front yard and balloons floating around the house. I think the big hit for Bobby was the bunk beds (see photo to the left). Katie enjoyed playing with the bubbles in the front yard. Ginger, their dog, enjoyed fetching the tennis ball.
Bobby has asked that we position the dining room chair next to his high chair. I can see why now…he will get out of the high chair and use the dining room chair as a stopping point to getting onto the floor and playing “for 5 minutes” as he says.
They are having a hard time getting goat’s milk in the 1/2 gallon size at WholeFoods these days. We might need to order ahead to ensure that they arrive.
This evening I gave the kids a game of “Jumping Frogs” that I picked up at the Dollar Store the other day.
