The photo to the left shows the clay fox that I made yesterday (and Bobby screwed apart).
As seems usual on a Monday morning, Katie said that she was sick and didn’t want to go to school. We don’t think she is lying. She really is sick, but her mind is what is making her sick. She just doesn’t like school. We’re hoping that she will get a better teacher next year and that things will improve as she gets older. We arrived at the drop-off point with Helen late today… 7:49 am. I thought that they might make me sign in, but there were still cars behind me.
After dropping Katie off I drove over to Trader Joe’s to get some bananas. The lady told me that they are limiting each store to six boxes of bananas as there is a shortage so it’s best to arrive early. I was there when the store opened.
There was a lot of drama when I got home this evening. Apparently, Bobby got his head stuck in the cat door. My wife was able to get him out, but there have been occasions where firemen have been called to the scene to get children free.
Katie was having problems with her math this evening. On one particular problem, instead of changing the number she changed the operation from a “plus” to a “minus” to come up with the correct value. Inventive yes, but it will not work on passing an exam.
