On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie and Helen got talking about the “Jump Rope For Heart” program. My wife plans to sign Katie up this evening. It sounds like it is a program that promotes physical activity for children focusing on your heart. I guess you get something called “Jacks in His Hanger” when you sign up…which is a “fluffy”? Some kind of a coat hanger device I guess? (NOTE: Katie later showed me what Jack looked like…see photo to the right).
Bobby fell at preschool and hit his head on the xylophone. When I got home there was a big band-aid on his forehead. Incidentally, it was in the exact same location as the cut due to him sticking his head in the cat door.
This evening I showed both Katie and Bobby the launch of the SpaceX Heavy Rocket on YouTube. It’s the largest rocket ever built by man and the cheers from the crowd brought back those days in the 1960s when man was on the quest to land on the moon. The rocket ended up sending Elon Musk’s Tesla car into orbit with an astronaut dummy in the driver’s seat. Katie was quite interested in it, but Bobby seemed to be off doing other things.
