Day #2958 (Sat., Feb. 10, 2018) – Valentine’s Gift Bags
Bobby got up in the middle of the night and started to cry in the hallway as he can get out of his bedroom now. My wife gave him a bit of food and some comfort and off to bed, he went.
Katie spent the afternoon making up Valentine’s gift bags for the kids in her class. My wife made some for Bobby’s classmates as well (see them all in the photo to the right). When I was a kid they used to just pass out little paper Valentine’s with perforated edges that we would take out of a book. Times have changed, and these gifts have gotten more elaborate.
This afternoon Katie and Bobby watched “The Emoji Movie” on Netflix. It was last July that Katie and I saw it in the theater. Katie gave Bobby a “poop” emoji keychain that he really likes.
I was hoping to go to Lowe’s this afternoon and get a chain to secure the front door so that Bobby can’t go wandering off by himself, but I’m still fighting off this “cold thing”.
