I was up early this morning putting a keyed lock (see photo to the left) on the bedroom door to keep inquisitive little Bobby out. Plans are to put two keys on a shelf just out of his reach. The good one will be a bit hidden and the bad one will be quite visible. The idea is that Bobby will see this visible key and get frustrated that it will not work on the lock and give up. When we want to open the door, however, we know that the hidden key is the good key. We’ll see…he’s quite a persistent little guy.
I picked up Helen on the way to Glenwood this morning. In less than a month Susan will have to return the favor as it looks like I will have to have another knee surgery.
My wife had me call home this afternoon as Bobby really wanted to talk to me. A little chat about dinosaurs and playing with Baby Ayra and all was good.
This evening I kept Bobby entertained by cutting out various animals from an old sticker book that we bought for Katie years ago. A dog, a cow, some pigs and a freely drawn dinosaur and barn and Bobby was entertained while my wife went over Katie’s piano lessons. Of course, the dinosaur had to try to eat all the various animals.
